Hi! Welcome to Sports Nutrition 4 Kids. I’m Linzy Ziegelbaum, a Registered Dietitian and a mom of two very active boys. I started Sports Nutrition 4 Kids after working with youth athletes for many years. Athletes of all ages and abilities have specific nutrition needs, and I wanted to create a one stop shop for them learn how to correctly fuel their bodies. 

From elementary school aged to high school athletes, nutrition is important to help your child get the competitive advantage. I am so happy you have come here to learn how to fuel your kids!

Our Editorial Process

All content is created by Linzy Ziegelbaum, MS, RD, CDN. Linzy is a Registered Dietitian with a Masters of Science in nutrition. To become a Registered Dietitian, it is required that you hold at least a four year bachelors degree, complete a specialized program known as the didactic program in dietetics, complete a supervised internship program and pass a national registration exam. Dietitians must complete 75 hours of continuing professional education every five years to maintain their registration as a Registered Dietitian.
